Had a tough morning? 5 ways to ease yourself back into the working week
- Check your bank balance – if it’s less than you’d like it to
be, get thinking. If it’s more than you
expect, keep doing more of the same!
- Create your ‘to do’ list so the week doesn’t run away with
you. Take 30 minute or so to focus on improvements
you can make, and where you want your business to be in 6 or 12 months’ time.
- Write a weekly report.
It will remind you of what’s been achieved and helps you monitor work in
progress. Don’t do a weekly report? Start
one now! Keeping track of achievements
and results is a great motivator, and the reports will create a company history
which makes for a really interesting read in years to come!
- Write down your goals and put them somewhere you can see them
daily. It's another great motivator and
helps create a sense of order and purpose. Everything
you do should be focussed on achieving these goals.
- Put a date in your calendar: sign up for a webinar or course
or local networking meeting. You can never
stop learning and there are always people you can learn from. They may not be in your industry or even from
your immediate community but there is undoubtedly someone, so make the effort
to find out who they are and how you can access their knowledge and experience.
